High School


High school is a time for growth, preparation, and responsibility.  Students are beginning to make choices that will impact them for the rest of their life.  Here at Chino Valley Christian School’s, we want to do our God ordained mission to provide a Bible-based program of education that enables students to develop a Christian world view and prepare them for college and career.  The faculty and staff are committed to training and equipping your student to be successful during their teen years and throughout their life.

The purpose of the high school is to provide an educational program which upholds a standard of scholastic and behavioral excellence.  CVCS furnishes instruction in Biblically-based Christian faith which enables students to develop a Christian world view, and prepares them to fulfill their God-ordained role in the home, the church, their country, and the world.

Our Christ-centered curriculum provides the best opportunity for your child to learn and advance in all areas of academics and life. The core curriculum of our high school program consists of six subjects:





Physical Education



These core curriculum subjects are taught daily emphasizing mastery in all subjects. We also offer a specialized curriculum weekly in music, art, and computers. This encourages your child’s creative and athletic talents to be enhanced to their fullest potential.

  a. History/Social Science – 2 years required
Including one year of U.S. history or one-half year of U.S. history and one-half year of civics or American government; and one year of world history, cultures, and geography.
  b. English - 4 years required
  c. Mathematics - 3 years required, 4 years recommended
  d. Laboratory Science – 2 years required, 3 years recommended
  e. Language other than English - 2 years required, 3 years recommended
  f. Visual & Preforming Arts – 1 year
Including drama/theater, music and/or visual art.
  g. College preparatory electives – 1 year required : One additional year in any of the above A-F areas or other approved elective.
