Elementary, Middle, and High School Scholarship Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria
2012-2013
General Information
Chino Valley Christian Schools (CVCS) is pleased to offer academic scholarships to qualified enrolled students. Scholarships are awarded to students entering grades 4th-11th and are based on the student’s overall academic grade point average (GPA). If a student has not received a numeric transcript to show their GPA because of a former attending school’s grading system or grade level involved, a GPA will be converted based upon the school’s criteria. Scholarships will be applied only to academic tuition at CVCS and will not be applicable to curriculum, registration, sports, or extra-curricular activities.
The following GPA criteria is used to qualify for an academic scholarship:
3.2 – 3.4 $300
3.5 – 3.7 $400
3.8 – 4.0 $500
Additionally, the student can not have any D, F, or U (unsatisfactory) grades on their report card or in citizenship/work habits.
The scholarship awarded to a student is deducted from the total tuition owed then the balance is divided into ten equal tuition payments. (For example, if the tuition for the school year is $4500 and the scholarship amount awarded is $500: $4500-$500= $4000 divided into 10 payments = $400.)

Application Procedure
- Complete the Scholarship Application.
- Return the application with a copy of the most recent official transcript to the CVCS Office. Applications, with support documentation, may be mailed to:
